William Levi Bell, 31, of Knifley, KY, a native of Green County, son of Amy Watson Conover and the late William Lee Bell, was born on March 8, 1995 in Hardin County, KY. He departed this life on Thursday, October 1, 2026 in Columbia, KY.
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. Levi was a welder for Manchester Tank and enjoyed hockey, especially watching the Bruins. He also liked to fish and raised chickens. Levi loved his daughter and son more than anything in the world. He was a spontaneous person that loved to go on an adventure and was always keeping somebody on their toes.

His wife of 7 years: Brook Humphress Bell of Knifley

His mother & step-father: Amy & Rodney Conover of Shepherdsville

Ronald Edwin Pike, 76, Glasgow, KY

 

Ronald Edwin Pike, 76, of Glasgow, KY, formerly of Houston, TX, the son of the late Jack Pike and Margaret “Peggy” Glidewell Pike, was born September 9, 1950 and departed this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 in Glasgow. 

 

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. Ronald served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1969-1972. He was employed as a glass glazer, and he loved being around people and had many friends. Ronald was a big cut-up, and liked to watch golf and baseball.

 

SURVIVORS:

3 daughters: Christina Elmore (Brett) of Colorado Springs, Kerrie Benningfield (Gerald) of Campbellsville, and Scarlett Pike of Bardstown

6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren

1 sister: Linda Martin of Elizabethtown

Carol Sue “Granny” Marshall, 86, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Twyman Marshall and Lora Alice Cox Marshall, was born on June 7, 1940 in Greensburg and departed this life on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Green River Trails Nursing Home. 
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker.

Charles Lewis "George" Robertson, 81, of Louisville, KY (formerly of Russell Springs), the son of the late Lewis and Dorothy Richard Robertson, was born on January 14, 1945 in Russell County, KY. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at the Highlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisville.

 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. George enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching UK basketball and the Cincinnati Reds.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 48 years, Judy Penick Robertson on December 26, 2021.

Lucas Samuel "Luke" Cox, 39, of Greensburg, KY, son of Sammy and Sue Conner Cox, was born on January 28, 1987 in Greensburg. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at his home.

 

He enjoyed video games, baseball, basketball, boxing, fishing and football. Luke played baseball for Lindsey Wilson College. Spending time with his brother, Brandon, and watching his nephew play sports, were both so special to him. He was an avid University of Louisville Cardinals fan, and also a fan of the Braves, Cowboys and Red Wings.

Geneva Bertha Shofner, 98, Campbellsville, KY

 

Geneva Bertha Shofner, 98, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Willie Ed Sprowles and Irene Lizzy Yates Sprowles, was born January 10, 1928 in Campbellsville, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church. Geneva was a homemaker, a farmer and had milked many cows in her lifetime. She also enjoyed quilting, gardening and canning.

 

She united in marriage to Coy Anderson Shofner and he preceded her death in 1984. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Sprowles, and two sisters: Lavoy Price and Alberta French.

1 daughter: Shelia Gibson & husband Kenneth of Campbellsville

2 grandchildren, Misty Dawn Gibson & companion Eddie Gilbert, and Kenton Joel Gibson (Stephanie), both of Campbellsville
