Phyllis Darlene Atwood, 68, of Campbellsville, KY passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Phyllis was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She treasured every moment shared with her family and created countless memories that will be cherished for generations.

She had a passion for gardening and found great happiness tending to her flowers and enjoying the beauty of nature. Phyllis also loved glamping and spending time outdoors, where she could relax and appreciate the simple pleasures of life. One of her favorite pastimes was sitting quietly and watching deer with her beloved companion, Larry Raikes, creating peaceful moments they both treasured.

Phyllis will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her warmth, laughter, and caring nature will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

She leaves behind her loving family, dear friends, her companion, Larry Rakes, and many cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
